Should I take the courses in each of your badges in a certain order?
Our courses are designed so that you can take them in any order and on their own, but they also flow into each other, complementing one another in different ways. For example, Two-Way Communication (efficient communication) leads nicely onto Influencing Your Audience (persuasive communication), which both give fruitful ideas to put into practice in the Storytelling course. We do also generally recommend that students needing training in written communication take the Nuts and Bolts writing course before taking Writing as Process.
In the end, however, the order you choose depends on your own journey and what priorities you have. Any specific questions about an order of courses you have in mind can be directed to us at [email protected] or our contact form, and we can help you tailor your experience to meet your unique learning needs.
Why can’t I find dates and times for your courses on your website?
Signum Path offers courses to a global audience, which means that course participants may span a number of time zones. Assigning a particular date and time, therefore, can be a limiting factor for some people.
To eliminate this as a barrier and to give course participants a say about the schedule, we get in touch with registrants prior to the scheduled month to find out what days and times will work for the group. Our Registration Coordinator will confirm the dates and times for live sessions with participants before the classes begin.
If you have questions about when a particular course will be offered, please email us at [email protected] or use our contact form.
How much time should I earmark for a course?
Each week, you will have two live, online sessions with the instructor and other participants. There will be homework assigned in each session – these tasks are designed to require 1-2 hours per week on average.
The total time commitment is about 12-16 hours for the four-week course.
Will my employer reimburse me for your courses?
Some employers may reimburse you for professional training. Please check with your supervisor, HR manager, or training/learning director.
If your employer needs more information to make a determination about whether Signum Path is eligible for reimbursement, they can email us at [email protected] with any questions.
Do you offer courses for companies or teams?
Yes, we do. We work with business clients to tailor Signum Path courses in order to meet the needs of managers and employees.
